Ndugu zangu wa karibu, leo ningependa kushiriki hadithi ya kuvutia kutoka Biblia ambayo inaitwa "Hadithi ya Yesu na Mtume Paulo: Ushuhuda wa Kukomboa". Hii ni hadithi ya kweli ambayo inaonyesha jinsi Mungu wetu mwenye upendo anavyoweza kubadilisha maisha yetu kabisa.

Katika Biblia, tunakutana na kifungu cha Matendo ya Mitume ambapo tunasoma juu ya Mtume Paulo. Wengi wetu tunajua kuwa Paulo alikuwa mtesaji wa Wakristo kabla ya kukutana na Yesu. Lakini jambo la kushangaza ni kwamba baada ya kukutana na Yesu njiani kuelekea Dameski, maisha ya Paulo yalibadilika kabisa.

Paulo aliyeishi awali kama adui wa Ukristo, aligeuka kuwa mmoja wa wanafunzi wakuu na watetezi wa imani yetu. Alijitoa kikamilifu kwa kumtumikia Mungu na kuhubiri Injili ya Yesu Kristo duniani kote. Ushuhuda wake na mafundisho yake yalikuwa na athari kubwa kwa watu wengi.

Kwa kweli, unaweza kusema kwamba Paulo alikuwa mshauri wa imani yetu. Katika barua yake kwa Wafilipi, Paulo aliandika maneno haya ya kusisimua: "Kwa maana Kristo ndiye uzima wangu, na kufa kwangu ni faida." (Wafilipi 1:21). Hii inaonyesha jinsi Paulo alikuwa amejitoa kwa Yesu na jinsi alivyokuwa na uhakika na tumaini lake katika uzima wa milele.

Ndugu zangu, je, wewe pia una hadithi ya kubadili maisha unayotaka kushiriki? Je, umemkubali Yesu Kristo kama Bwana na Mwokozi wako? Je, unajitahidi kumtumikia Mungu kwa uaminifu kama Mtume Paulo alivyofanya?

Ninawahimiza nyote kusoma hadithi za Biblia na kuona jinsi Mungu wetu anavyofanya kazi ya ajabu katika maisha ya watu. Hebu tuchukue mfano wa Paulo na tuwe vyombo vya upendo na neema ya Mungu kwa ulimwengu huu.

Ndugu zangu, ningependa kuwaalika sasa kusali pamoja nami. Tuombe pamoja ili tuwe na ujasiri na nguvu kama Paulo katika kumtumikia Mungu wetu. Tuombe pia kwa ajili ya watu wengine ambao bado hawajamkubali Yesu Kristo, ili waweze kuona nuru ya Injili na kugeuzwa na nguvu ya Roho Mtakatifu.

Bwana wetu mwenye upendo, tunakushukuru kwa kutuwezesha kusoma hadithi hii ya kusisimua kutoka Biblia. Tunaomba uweze kutuongoza na kutupa nguvu kama ulivyofanya kwa Paulo. Tuwe vyombo vya mwanga na upendo wako katika ulimwengu huu wenye giza. Tunaomba haya yote kwa jina la Yesu, amina.
