The devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe originates from the miraculous apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary to Saint Juan Diego in 1531. She appeared to him on Tepeyac Hill near Mexico City, leaving an imprint of her image on his cloak, known as a tilma. This image has since been preserved and is venerated in the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
Mother of All Peoples 👩👧👦
Our Lady of Guadalupe is often referred to as the Mother of All Peoples, symbolizing her universal motherhood.
