Kama ilivyoelezwa katika 1 Wakorintho 10:13, "Jaribu halikupati ninyi isipokuwa lililo kawaida ya wanadamu; lakini Mungu ni mwaminifu, ambaye hatawaacha mjaribiwe kupita mwezavyo, bali pamoja na lile jaribu atafanya na mlango wa kutokea, ili mweze kustahimili." Upendo wa Mungu unatupa nguvu ya kushinda majaribu ambayo tunakutana nayo maishani.
Upendo wa Mungu unatupa tumaini la uzima wa milele. Kama ilivyoelezwa katika Yohana 3:16, "Kwa maana Mungu aliupenda ulimwengu hata akamtoa mwanawe pekee, ili kila mtu amwaminiye asipotee, bali awe na uzima wa milele." Upendo wa Mungu unatupa tumaini la uzima wa milele, ambalo hakuna kitu chochote kinachoweza kulinganishwa nacho.

Musa aligeuka akashuka katika mlima, na zile mbao mbili za mawe mikononi mwake; mbao ziliandikwa pande zote mbili, upande huu na upande huu ziliandikwa. Na zile mbao zilikuwa kazi ya Mungu, nayo maandiko yalikuwa maandiko ya Mungu, yaliyochorwa katika zile mbao.
Na Yoshua aliposikia kelele za watu walipokuwa wakipiga kelele, akamwambia Musa, Kuna kelele ya vita maragoni. Akaitwaa ile ndama walioifanya, akaichoma moto, akaisaga hata ikawa mavumbi, akainyunyiza juu ya maji, akawanywesha wana wa Israeli. Musa akamwambia Haruni; Watu hawa wamekufanyani hata ukaleta dhambi hii kuu juu yao? Haruni akasema, Hasira ya bwana wangu isiwake; wewe unawajua watu hawa, ya kuwa wamejielekeza kwa mabaya. Maana waliniambia, Katufanyie miungu itakayokwenda mbele yetu, kwa maana mtu huyo Musa, aliyetutoa katika nchi ya Misri, hatujui yaliyompata. Nikawaambia, Mtu yeyote aliye na dhahabu na aivunje; basi wakanipa, nami nikaitupa ndani ya moto, akatoka ndama huyu.
Basi asubuhi yake Musa akawaambia watu, Mmetenda dhambi kuu; na sasa nitakwenda juu kwa Bwana, labda nitafanya upatanisho kwa ajili ya dhambi yenu. Musa akarejea kwa Bwana akasema, Aa! Watu hawa wametenda dhambi kuu, wamejifanyia miungu ya dhahabu. Walakini sasa ikiwa utawasamehe dhambi yao β na kama sivyo, unifute, nakusihi, katika kitabu chako ulichokiandika. Bwana akamwambia Musa, Mtu yoyote aliyenitenda dhambi, ndiye nitakayemfuta katika kitabu changu. Basi sasa uende ukawaongoze watu hawa mpaka mahali pale ambapo nimekuambia habari zake; tazama, malaika wangu atakutangulia; pamoja na hayo siku nitakayowajilia nitawapatiliza kwa ajili ya dhambi yao.

Yesu aliwatolea mfano mwingine, akisema, Ufalme wa mbinguni umefanana na punje ya haradali, aliyoitwaa mtu akaipanda katika shamba lake; nayo ni ndogo kuliko mbegu zote; lakini ikiisha kumea, huwa kubwa kuliko mboga zote, ikawa mti, hata nyuni wa angani huja na kukaa katika matawi yake.
Akawaambia mfano mwingine; Ufalme wa mbinguni umefanana na chachu aliyoitwaa mwanamke, akaisitiri ndani ya pishi tatu za unga, hata ukachachwa wote pia.
Hayo yote Yesu aliwaambia makutano kwa mifano; wala pasipo mfano hakuwaambia neno; ili litimie neno lililonenwa na nabii, akisema, Nitafumbua kinywa changu kwa mifano, Nitayatamka yaliyositirika tangu awali.
