Bikira na Mama

Wakristo na Waislamu wote wanakiri kuwa Yesu alitungwa bila ya mchango wa mwanamume. La ajabu zaidi katika imani hiyo ni kwamba hata uzazi wenyewe haukuondoa ubikira wake, bali uliutakasa: ni Bikira daima. Ingawa akili inasita, ni lazima kukiri na malaika, “Hakuna lisilowezekana kwa Mungu” (Lk 1:38). Yosefu, ingawa kisheria alikuwa mume wake, hakutenda naye tendo la ndoa.

Ni imani ya Wakatoliki na Waorthodoksi kuwa Mama wa Yesu anastahili kuitwa “Bikira daima” kwa sababu alimchukua mimba akiwa bikira, akamzaa bila ya kupotewa na ubikira, akabaki bikira hadi mwisho wa maisha yake. Kama Bikira Maria angekuwa na watoto wengine, Yesu angekuwa amefanya kosa la kuwanyang’anya Mama yao na kumfanya awe Mama wa mtume Yohane alipomkabidhi msalabani, “‘Mwana, tazama Mama yako’. Na tangu saa ile huyo mwanafunzi alimchukua akae nyumbani kwake” (Yoh 19:27).

Katika Agano Jipya yupo Yakobo anayeitwa na mtume Paulo “ndugu yake Bwana” (Gal 1:19): Yakobo huyo alikuwa maarufu katika Kanisa la Yerusalemu (Mdo 12:7; 15:13-21; 21:18-20; Gal 2:9). Yakobo huyo si mtume Yakobo kaka yake Yohane (Lk 6:12-16), bali ni Yakobo ndugu yake Yose na mama yao kwenye Injili anaitwa “Maria mwingine”, si Maria Mama wa Yesu. “Walikuwepo pia wanawake waliotazama kwa mbali. Miongoni mwao akiwa Maria Magdalena, Salome na Maria mama wa akina Yakobo mdogo na Yose” (Mk 15:40). Maria lilikuwa jina la kawaida kwa Wayahudi: akina Maria wakiwa wengi hivyo, tujue kuwatofautisha kwenye Injili, ambazo zinamtaja Bikira Maria kama “Mama wa Yesu”.

Kupalizwa Mbinguni mwili na roho

Baada ya maisha haya ya duniani Bikira Maria alipalizwa mbinguni mwili na roho, ishara ya mwanamke mshindi. “Ishara kubwa ikaonekana mbinguni, ambapo mwanamke aliyevikwa jua, pia na mwezi chini ya miguu yake, na taji la nyota kumi na mbili juu ya kichwa chake” (Ufu 12:1). Maneno ya shangilio lake yametimia: Mungu “amewaangusha wakuu katika viti vyao vya enzi; na wanyonge amewakweza” (Lk 1:52).

Imani hiyo ya mapokeo ya kale, yanavyoshuhudiwa na Mababu wa Kanisa, ilitangazwa rasmi na Papa Pius XII kwa niaba ya maaskofu wote mwaka 1950.

Mafundisho ya Yesu Kuhusu Kuwa na Ushuhuda wa Kukataa Uovu 😇

Karibu ndugu yangu kwenye makala hii yenye kuangazia mafundisho ya Yesu kuhusu kuwa na ushuhuda wa kukataa uovu. Kama Wakristo, tunakaribishwa kufuata mafundisho ya Bwana wetu Yesu Kristo na kuishi maisha yanayompendeza Mungu. Kwa kufuatia mfano wake, tutaweza kuonyesha mwanga wa Kristo kwa kukataa uovu na kuwa vyombo vya haki na utakatifu.

1️⃣ Yesu alifundisha katika Mathayo 5:14-16 kwamba sisi ni mwanga wa ulimwengu huu. Kwa hivyo, tunapaswa kuangaza mwanga wetu ili watu wote wamtukuze Mungu Baba yetu wa mbinguni.

2️⃣ Kukataa uovu kunahusu kuchagua kufanya mema na kuepuka kufanya maovu. Yesu mwenyewe alisema katika Mathayo 12:35, "Mtu mwema hutoa mema kutoka katika hazina njema ya moyo wake, na mtu mbaya hutoa mabaya kutoka katika hazina mbaya."

Mji uliojengwa juu ya mlima hauwezi kufichwa."

5️⃣ Kukataa uovu kunamaanisha kuwa na upendo kwa wengine. Yesu aliwaambia wanafunzi wake katika Mathayo 22:39, "Penda jirani yako kama unavyojipenda mwenyewe." Kwa kuwa na upendo, tunaweza kuwa na ushuhuda mzuri ambao utaathiri wengine.

6️⃣ Kuwa na ushuhuda wa kukataa uovu kunahitaji kujitenga na mambo ya kidunia yanayoweza kutuletea uovu. Katika 1 Yohana 2:15, tunasisitizwa "Msiipende dunia, wala vitu vilivyomo duniani. Mtu akipenda dunia, kumpenda Baba hakumo ndani yake."

7️⃣ Tunahitaji kuwa na maamuzi thabiti na kutokuwa na wasiwasi katika kukataa uovu. Katika Waebrania 13:6, tunahimizwa kuwa na ujasiri na kusema, "Bwana ndiye msaidizi wangu, sitaogopa; Mwanadamu atanitenda nini?"

8️⃣ Yesu alitufundisha kuwa na msamaha. Katika Mathayo 6:14, alisema, "Kwa maana msipowasamehe watu makosa yao, Baba yenu wa mbinguni naye hatawasamehe ninyi makosa yenu." Kukataa uovu kunahusisha kuwasamehe wengine na kuonyesha neema ya Mungu.

9️⃣ Yesu alikuwa mfano mzuri wa kukataa uovu kwa jinsi alivyowakemea wafanyabiashara waliovunja Amani ya hekalu. Alisema katika Yohana 2:16, "Msifanye nyumba ya Baba yangu kuwa nyumba ya biashara."

1️⃣3️⃣ Kukataa uovu kunahusisha kuwa watu wa kweli na waaminifu. Yesu alisema katika Yohana 8:32, "Nanyi mtaijua kweli, na hiyo kweli itawaweka huru." Kwa kuishi kwa ukweli, tunaweza kuwa mashahidi wa ukweli wa Mungu.

1️⃣4️⃣ Kukataa uovu kunahusisha kusimama imara katika imani yetu. Katika 1 Wakorintho 16:13, tunahimizwa kuwa hodari na imara, "Simameni imara katika imani; fanyeni mambo yenu yote kwa upendo."
